These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Bracedent’s dental services, website, and any related treatment or consultation. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Definitions
- “Clinic” refers to Bracedent.
- “Patient”, “You”, “Your” refers to any person obtaining or seeking dental services from Bracedent.
- “Dentist / Practitioner” refers to dental professionals registered under the Malaysian Dental Council.
- “Services” means dental, orthodontic, aesthetic, or implant treatments provided by Bracedent.
3. Legal & Regulatory Compliance
- All dentists and dental practitioners operating in Bracedent are registered with the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) under the Dental Act 2018 (Act 804) and must hold a valid practising certificate.
- Bracedent complies with all applicable Dental Regulations, continuing professional development (CPD) requirements, and professional indemnity insurance obligations.
- All treatments and procedures are performed in accordance with best practices, safety standards, and hygiene regulations in Malaysia.
4. Consultation & Treatment Planning
- Initial consultations may be required to evaluate diagnosis, treatment options, costs, and expected outcomes.
- Treatment plans offered are personalized; actual results may vary based on individual conditions.
- Patients will be informed of risks, benefits, and alternatives before commencing treatment.
5. Fees, Payments & Cancellations
Fees will be disclosed prior to treatment; quotes are estimates and may change if scope of treatment changes.
Deposit may be required to schedule treatment.
Payment terms must be met; failure to do so may result in suspension of services.
6. Confidentiality & Privacy
Patient information will be handled per applicable Malaysian privacy laws and regulations.
Your data (medical history, personal details, images) will be kept secure and used only for treatment, administrative, or marketing purposes (with your consent).
7. Use of Images, Testimonials & Smile Gallery
Bracedent may use before/after photos, testimonials, or smile gallery images with express consent of patients.
Images are shown for informational purposes; individual results may vary. They do not guarantee a specific outcome.
8. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All website content, including images, text, logos, and designs, are property of Bracedent unless otherwise stated.
Users may view/download content for personal use only; commercial copying or distribution requires Bracedent’s written permission.
9. Liability & Indemnity
While Bracedent strives to provide high quality care, it does not guarantee specific results.
Liability for negligence will be in accordance with Malaysian law, including any statutory limitations.
Patients agree to indemnify Bracedent against claims arising out of misuse of services or failure to follow practitioner instructions.
10. Professional Indemnity Insurance
All practising dentists and specialists at Bracedent maintain professional indemnity insurance as required under Dental Act 2018, effective renewal, and practising certificate conditions.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
Any dispute arising shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
If a dispute arises, efforts shall first be made to resolve amicably via mediation or internal complaint mechanisms.
12. Changes to Terms
- Bracedent may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on our website.
- Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
